Our Beloved Zoraida was called home on Saturday January 29th, 2022. Born on February 22nd, 1966 in Comerio, Puerto Rico to Angel Cotto and Noelia Cotto. Loving Mother to Jesus Melendez, Veronica Melendez, and Natasha and Christopher Vargas. Adored Grandmother to Leanna, Janise, Khalea, Soraya, Silas, Ezequiel, Armani, Arianna, Aliyah, and Kamelo. Great GrandMother to Leilani, Kevin Jr., and Xaviera.
Sister to Manuel, Nelida, Edgardo, Luis, her pre-deceased Angel who was waiting to welcome her home, Josue and her youngest sibling, Emily.
She also has numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, as well as having many Nieces and Nephews and In-law family that she loves very much.
Zoraida has one of the biggest hearts of Anyone in this World. She has taken in, taken care of, loved, protected and guided many of those that she cares for. You never had to ask for her help, but she was always there to give it. She cares about everyone and everything and she loves so very deeply.
She is Always so Stylish and is known to be Absolutely Beautiful inside and Out. To be loved and cared for by Zoraida was a blessing felt by many! To be loved by her was to Always be loved by her. She taught anyone that came into her life just what the meaning of friendship, unconditional love, loyalty and family really meant! You didn’t have to be a blood relative for her to take you in and consider you family.
For Zoraida’s entire life, she has always been such a hard worker. It never mattered what was going on or how she felt, she Always went to work. But No job she had was nearly as important to her, as being a Mother to her 3 Amazing Children. It never mattered what their ages are, because they will always be her babies. Then She happily took on her loving role as Grandmother (Abuela) and within the past few years was blessed with becoming a Great Grandmother, 3 times!
With her Family is where she was her happiest. With her Family is where her heart is, and with her Family is where she will Always be.
