Virginia “Gini” Tocci

LEOMINSTER -- Virginia A. (Bangrazi) Tocci, 72, died Sunday, May 26, 2024 after a brief illness in her home with her husband and daughter by her side.

She was born on July 31, 1951 in Fitchburg, the daughter of Luigi F. and Virginia (Marrella) Bangrazi who pre-deceased her as well as her precious dogs Mercedes and Lexi.

She leaves her husband, the love of her life Joseph J. Tocci, of 53 years. Her loving daughter Stephanie Tocci and her children Lucas, Theresa, Abriana, Nico, and Francesca of Leominster. Her son Justin Tocci, his wife Jennifer (Gagnon) and their children Joseph, Michael, Nunzio, Cross, Jacinta, Bernadette, Caterina, Becket, and Cecilia of Texas. Her brother Frank Bangrazi and his wife Brenda (Ouellette) of Ashby, Brother-in-Law Chet Tocci and his wife Cathy of Florida, and Sister-in-Law Maria (Tocci) Donizetti and her late husband Larry of Florida, two great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her dog’s “G” and Portia.

In addition to owning companies in Leominster's downtown, Gini served as a prior City Councilor-At-Large for 12 years, 1996-2003 and 2006-2009. She led the effort to look into the needs of the elderly and aging and served on the board at Leominster Housing Authority. She loved going shopping with her daughter, and having dinner with "The Girls.”

TOCCI – As per Gini’s request no funeral or calling hours will be held. A private invitation only celebration of life will be held at a later date from her daughter Stephanie and husband Joe. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to: The Veteran’s or Senior Center in Leominster and may be left at THE CURLEY MARCHAND FUNERAL HOME, 89 West St., Leominster.
