Leominster: Michael Alan Pinder, 56 passed away on Saturday, May 23, from injuries sustained in a car accident.
He was born on February 6, 1970 in Fitchburg, the son of John A. Pinder and Linda (Mahan) Pinder
Besides his parents he leaves behind his beloved wife Anne (Hood) Pinder, his treasured son Owen, his siblings Bob Pinder, and his husband John Burke, Chris Pinder, Cathy (Pinder) Firmani and her husband Joe. In addition he will be missed by his several nieces and nephews - Sean, Jackie, Nick and Jenny. He also leaves his stepchildren to whom he was a second father- Jacob Sullivan and his wife Kelsey and their four children, Shannon (Sullivan) Demont, her husband Jacob, and their four children, Kaitlin Sullivan and her daughter, Michael Sullivan, his wife Ely and their baby, and Erin Sullivan, also including various other family members, especially his cousins Diana, Andrew, Angela and Beth Ann and Scott.
He was a graphic designer for many years, but has spent the last few being the primary caregiver for his son Owen, who has numerous medical needs. This was a role he embraced and loved. He enjoyed, gardening, motorcycles, singing, hiking, bike riding, flea markets, peaceful mornings, and most of all doing just about anything with his other half Anne. He often stated that his years with his wife and soulmate have been the happiest of his life. With Anne he lived a whole new definition of a true love story.
Michael's Funeral will be held on Monday June 1, from THE CURLEY MARCHAND FUNERAL HOME, 89 West St. Leominster, with a Catholic Mass at 11:00 AM, in St. Leo's Church, 108 Main St. Leominster Burial will Follow in St. Leo's Cemetery 360 Lancaster St. Leominster.
Calling Hours at the Funeral home will be on Sunday May 31 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, and on Monday June 1, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to a trust being set up for his son Owen's future needs. The trust will be administered by Anne Pinder and all donations may be made payable in her name for him. Thank You For Your Support .
