LEOMINSTER: Iginia Rose Joseph, 88, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on November 19, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Iginia was born on November 16, 1933 in Schenectady, New York, the daughter of Pietro Coppola and MariAngela (Di Salvatore) Coppola.
She was known for her cute smile, loving kisses and the greatest, warmest and kindest welcome into her home. She loved to cook and was known for the large Italian meals she made on the holidays and for the Sunday dinners. We always had leftovers and it was just as good. She loved reading and oil painting, knitting and crocheting. Some of paintings have been done for her church and the Knights of Columbus .
She worked for Kresge Company and then for Kmart for over 20 years as a manager of shipping and receiving department.
She leaves behind her devoted and loving husband, Francis, of 66 years. She was predeceased by her sisters Gertude Coppolo of Schenectady and Emilia Benny of Scotia.
She was a loving, devoted mother of 5 children, Kathleen (Joseph) Jordan of Westminster, MA, Michael (Meg) Joseph of Nashua, NH, Donna (Joseph) Martin (Glenn) of Austin TX, Stephen Joseph of Jackson, GA and Brian (Dawn) Joseph of Northville, MI. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 14 Great-Grandchildren.
IGINIA ROSE JOSEPH: Mrs. Joseph’s Funeral will be held on Wednesday (November 24), from THE CURLEY MARCHAND FUNERAL HOME, 89 West St. Leominster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Leo’s Church, 108 Main St. Leominster. Burial will follow at St. Leo’s Cemetery. Calling Hours at the Curley Marchand Funeral Home will be on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM
