LEOMINSTER: Florence Irene Rousseau, 93, passed away on November 3, 2021.
She was born on July 11, 1928, in Holyoke, Ma, the daughter of the late Alfred and Caroline (Jablonska) Nadeau.
Mrs. Rousseau worked at Rogers Printing in Leominster for over thirty years. She was a member of St. Anna’s Parish in Leominster and a member of the St. Anna Society. She was also a member of The Highland Ave. Coffee Club, a group of neighbors and friends who enjoyed each others company and a cup a coffee.
She was pre deceased by her husband Anthony J. Rosa, and second husband Norman Rousseau, her brother Edward Nadeau, and sisters Helen Vallee, and Doris Parmenter.
She leaves her sons Dennis Rosa and his wife Mary of Leominster, Wayne Rosa and his wife Gail of Florida, a daughter Jane Barry and her husband Timothy of Leominster, two step daughters Denise Lavoie of California, and Jeannette Barnhart of Alaska, two sisters Elizabeth Pearson of North Carolina, and Claire Morin of Milbury, MA, twelve grandchildren Amy Roux, Scott Rosa, Tony Rosa, Andria Tichy, Jennifer Cameron Goddard, Christopher Barry, Jonathan Barry, David Designas, Kathy Harty, Jason Designas, Keith St. Jean, and Cassie St. Jean, and several great grandchildren.
Florence Irene Rousseau: Her Funeral will be held on Monday (November 8) from THE CURLEY MARCHAND FUNERAL HOME, 89 West St. Leominster, with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Anna’s Church, 194 Lancaster St. in Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Leo’s Cemetery Leominster. Calling Hours at the Funeral Home will be on Monday from 9:00 to 10:30 AM.
