ERIN SLATTERY

    Erin Slattery passed away peacefully surrounded by the people she loved on March 26th, 2026 at the age of 62. She spent her final days bathed in the love she deserved.

Erin was born in Lowell on July 7th, 1963 to Patrick and Catherine Regan. She had two siblings, Brendan and Shaun Regan. She attended St. Bernard’s and Leominster High Schools before becoming a medical receptionist. Her proudest title, however, was mom. Erin loved her three kids more than anything in the world, raising them with a firm but loving hand.

After having kids, she ran a daycare out of her house for over ten years before going back into the medical field to be a medical clerk. Her passion for helping other people was evident no matter where she worked, and her infectious laughter brought life into every room it filled.

Erin met Richard Deshler later in life, and the two spent three years together. His compassion and love for her kept her going.

Her fondest memories were spent on the Cape with her family during their yearly vacation to Dennisport. She also loved the Bruins, country music, her Irish heritage, Mayflower beach, and her bright red hair.

Erin is survived by her three children, Meghan, Connor, and Shannon of Fitchburg, her late life partner Richard Deshler of Leominster, her ex husband Ted Slattery of Fitchburg, her brother Brendan Regan of Leominster. She is also survived by many close relatives, whom she loved dearly. Family was everything to her.

The grief we feel is but a reminder of how much joy she brought into our lives. Every tear represents a smile she brought to our faces, and reminds us of how much love we will always carry for her. We extend an immense amount of thanks to Rose Monahan Hospice Center for their diligent care in her final week of life

Calling  Hours at THE CURLEY MARCHAND FUNERAL HOME, 89 West St. Leominster,, will be on Sunday,  April 19, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM
