ARTHUR A. AUGER

LUNENBURG — Arthur A. Auger, 81, of 10 Ramgren Road, Lunenburg, Massachusetts died Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the Fitchburg Healthcare Nursing Home in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

Arthur was born in Leominster, Massachusetts on October 29, 1943, the son of Armand Auger and Annie A. (Morse) Auger.

Arthur had a passion for gardening and woodworking creating furniture which will be passed down to generations to come. He also enjoyed playing his guitar, and keyboards and relaxing with a good movie or book. All who knew him will remember his quick wit and the creative measures and designs with which he approached any obstacle he encountered in his day-to-day life.

He was survived by his sister, Nancy B. (Auger) Latchis and her husband, Peter E. Latchis of Leominster, Massachusetts; his niece, Karen A. (Progin) Dufresne and her husband, Edward Dufresne, both of Lunenburg, Massachusetts; her nephew, Bernard B. Progin of Lunenburg, Massachusetts and his niece, Dianne L. (Progin) Truax of Lunenburg, Massachusetts along with several great nieces and nephews as well as their children. Arthur was predeceased by his mother, Annie A. (Morse) Auger who died in 2005, and his father, Armand Auger who died in 2000.
