About Angie:
Born in the Brooklyn, New York to Sicilian immigrants, Angie, lovingly known as “Angel” and "Angie Baby," had a remarkable life full of adventure and learning. She traveled the world alongside her cherished late husband, Victorio, who served as Chief Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. Her linguistic talents were as broad as her travels; she was fluent in Italian and Japanese and even began learning French in her later years. Angie’s quest for knowledge extended beyond the classroom as she attended Fitchburg High School and the Elizabeth Grady Hairdressing School, always embracing new opportunities to learn and grow.
Angie had a profound passion for the arts, finding joy in singing, dancing, and acting. She adored the theatre and was a devoted fan of Dean Martin. With her immense talent, she could have easily graced the stages of Broadway. Often compared to Betty Grable and Marilyn Monroe for her "Million Dollar Legs," she also possessed a voice reminiscent of Doris Day and Julie Andrews. Angie embraced life uniquely, even playing women’s basketball while stationed in Japan. Her deep passion for Italian cooking and her zest for life were unmatched. Her greatest talents were her love for life, culture, language, and, most importantly, her family. Always willing to try and learn something new. “No Fear”
Angie found her greatest joy and pride in being an extraordinary mother, celebrating the successes and happiness of her children and grandchildren. She embodied strong Italian family values and was a vibrant, kind-hearted soul. Angie’s phone calls always ended with her signature phrase, "I love you more." Her wild spirit, humility, and grace will be remembered forever. Angie's legacy is one of love, dedication, and unwavering family values. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
Her children and grandchildren fondly remember her as brave, beautiful, and intelligent. She was a fighter, a force of nature, honest and loyal, fearless yet wise. Angie was generous, compassionate, and forgiving, always a fierce protector of her loved ones. Her sense of humor and kindness were unparalleled. She illuminated every room with her smile, earning the love and respect of all who knew her. Angie’s life philosophy was grounded in timeless principles: "family first," "do not judge," "never give up," and "you only fail if you stop trying." She often quoted Albert Einstein, saying, "Weak people revenge, strong people forgive, and intelligent people ignore." These values guided her through life and inspired those around her.
Making memories was one of the most precious things to her. She had a remarkable gift for transforming even the toughest situations into something wonderful. From the depths of our hearts, thank you for imparting such incredible values, unwavering faith, and countless cherished lessons. We will forever treasure the laughter and joy you brought into our lives. Your absence will be deeply felt, and you will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Your sacrifices have never gone unnoticed.
Until we meet again, please know that we love you endlessly and you will be deeply missed.
With all our love,
Your children and grandchildren
